Starting June 27, only freight vehicles and temporarily buses will be serviced at the “Yahodyn-Dorohusk” border crossing. This was warned by the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
“From June 27, only freight vehicles will be processed at the ‘Yahodyn-Dorohusk’ border crossing. At the same time, vehicles with a total weight of up to 7.5 tons and passenger cars will be redirected to other crossing points.
Separate lanes will be allocated for empty trucks,” the message states.
Additionally, temporarily – until the reconstruction and construction of the ‘Krakovets’ border crossing is completed – scheduled buses will be allowed through Yahodyn.
This decision is explained as a measure to reduce queues at the border under the “Open Border” program.
