Zelensky discussed plans to strengthen Ukraine and the heating season during a meeting at the headquarters.

The meeting of the National Security and Defense Council focused on preparations for the heating season, emphasizing safety, restoration, and collaboration with partners. Representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, the Ministry of Energy, and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided reports.

Particular attention was given to the readiness of border and frontline communities. Long-term energy solutions that will enhance Ukraine's resilience were also discussed.

"I have issued clear directives that must be accomplished before winter begins," reported Zelensky.

The Ministry of Defense and military officials presented updates on the staffing of brigades and the training of new recruits. There was a report on the construction of fortifications, identifying areas that require strengthening.

"As a result of today’s meeting, I instructed the members of the Council to prepare specific components of our internal Plan for Strengthening Ukraine. Alongside the Victory Plan, we must outline all necessary steps for Ukraine that will ensure internal outcomes for our state. This pertains to the front, the defense industry, the economy and finance, the information sphere, ensuring justice, regional efforts, and other strategic sectors. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council will be responsible for organizing this work," he stated.
