US intelligence reportedly confirmed that a "Bayraktar" shot down a Russian strategic bomber over the Caspian Sea. A source in the Pentagon stated that the attack drone managed to remain undetected due to its unique stealth mode. In turn, the MAM-L missile launched from the drone inflicted critical damage on the bomber.
Analysts noted that this is the first instance in history where a small-class drone has destroyed a heavy strategic aircraft.
The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state has not commented on this information yet; however, Russian propagandists have already claimed that the bomber made a "planned water landing."
Overall, the veracity of such information is highly questionable. From open sources, it is known that the operational range of the Bayraktar TB2 is limited to 150 km, while the distance from the Ukrainian border to the Caspian Sea is at least 950 km.
Earlier, we reported that the soldiers of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign destroyed a Russian attack aircraft Su-25 in the Toretsk direction. The pilot attempted to escape in a Mi-8 helicopter, but he was unsuccessful.
We also reported that a F-35 fighter jet crashed in the USA.
