According to the announcement, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has suggested a possible meeting with Vladimir Zelensky. Previously, the Prime Minister proposed a meeting to discuss the restoration of gas transit through Ukraine in Slovakia, at which point the Ukrainian leader invited Fico to Kyiv.

"We are looking for another date, which should be in the coming days," Fico stated.

Robert Fico has not provided further details regarding the meeting with the President of Ukraine. Therefore, the exact date of the potential negotiations between the politicians remains unknown.

It is worth noting that President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky invited Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to come for a meeting in Kyiv this Friday, January 17. However, the Slovak politician declined.
