The former Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine and currently the Ukrainian ambassador to London, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, welcomed UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Kyiv. According to Zaluzhnyi, the visit is expected to be eventful and will strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.

This was reported by Valery Zaluzhny on his Telegram page.

Zaluzhny Meets with Starmer

Zaluzhny emphasized that Britain remains a crucial ally for Ukraine, especially in the context of the war. During the discussions, the leadership of both nations will address further cooperation, focusing on security issues.

"The British side is actively assisting us during these challenging times. Therefore, during the negotiations in Kyiv, the top leadership of Ukraine and the UK will discuss further collaboration, primarily in the field of security. However, the most significant expectation is the signing of an important Agreement on a 100-Year Partnership between our countries, which will cover a wide range of areas from defense to science and culture," Zaluzhny stated.

Additionally, Zaluzhny announced the resumption of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue.

Recall that Keir Starmer arrived in Kyiv on January 16. The media reported details about the 100-year partnership between Ukraine and Britain.
