Currently, the most intense situation is evidently in the Kurakhove direction, where the enemy continues to apply pressure.
In second place is the Kursk direction, followed by the Kupiansk direction. Additionally, it is worth noting an area that has recently become active near Velyka Novosilka, specifically the former Vremivka salient.
This was reported by military expert, retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Grabskyi in an interview with Yevhen Kyseliov.
"Currently, despite the active front line being approximately 1200 km, the enemy is conducting what can hardly be called an offensive; it's more like actions aimed at pushing into Ukrainian territory over a very small area, namely in the Kurakhove direction. They are attempting combat operations to dislodge Ukrainian forces from that part of the Donetsk agglomeration still under Ukrainian control, specifically from Toretsk," – stated Serhiy Grabskyi.
The military expert emphasized that over half a million enemy troops are desperately fighting over a tiny piece of land, and the ratio of combat engagements in the Kurakhove direction compared to all other mentioned directions, and beyond, is approximately 5:1.
"One can conclude that this is all the Russian army has been capable of achieving at this point, which is to apply pressure with clear superiority, but only over one small section to accomplish at least one task that may allow the enemy to plan and carry out other operations in the future. However, the cost of this advancement is simply enormous, and the losses are truly horrific," – added Serhiy Grabskyi.
