Although the enemy is focusing its main efforts on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, it continues to carry out offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction as well.
This was reported by military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, Konstantin Mashovets, on his Telegram channel here.
In particular, the occupiers have managed to reach the southern outskirts of the village of Hryhorivka, north of the city of Chasiv Yar, and have maintained and significantly expanded two tactical footholds on the "Seversky Donets - Donbass" canal.
According to the military expert, the main success of the enemy in this direction has been the advance of its forward units along the T-0504 road, south of Chasiv Yar, beyond the "Seversky Donets - Donbass" canal, towards the village of Stupochky.
"And while this advance of 1-1.5 km cannot be deemed particularly significant, it is potentially quite threatening to the entire defense system in Chasiv Yar, as it allows the enemy to accumulate assault groups for an attack from the south not only in the 'Novy' area (through the forest, complicating timely detection and deployment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine), but also towards the quarry, Tsiolkovsky Street, and generally in the direction of the Central Pond of the city," explained Konstantin Mashovets.
However, as the expert noted, the occupiers have not yet managed to solve their main problem in the Kramatorsk direction – eliminating the Ukrainian Armed Forces' foothold on the "Seversky Donets – Donbass" canal towards Klishchiyivka and Andriivka.
