Business representatives have been invited to participate in the development of an internal plan to strengthen Ukraine, coordinated by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, stated President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"We have proposed that the business community join in creating an internal plan focused on economic issues. Yulia Svyrydenko is leading this effort. The strategic vision of entrepreneurs will be taken into account. Additionally, one of our key geopolitical needs will be in Europe. This is fundamental," Zelensky said in a video address to the 10th Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF) in Kyiv on Thursday.
According to the president, the internal plan is being prepared in the coming weeks, with one of its key points being the economic element, "where we can unleash Ukraine's internal economic power through regulation and fair competition," to bolster the strength of Ukrainian sovereignty and defense against external aggression.
Furthermore, the head of state announced that he is on his way to Budapest to participate in the summit of the European Political Community. "It is obviously crucial at this time," Zelensky added.
He also reminded everyone about his conversation with Donald Trump yesterday, emphasizing the need to ensure that the outcomes of Ukraine's interaction with America, as well as with all of Europe and America, are productive and positive.
"This is a specific task. I am confident that we will solve it as well. I count on your support now just as much as in previous years," the president addressed the forum participants.
