More than 60% of customers on the marketplace market by mono opt for installment payments, reported monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky.
"Over 60% of buyers split their payments into installments. We have made it convenient and beneficial for the client, and we aim to make this the standard for major purchases," Gorokhovsky explained at the SALT (SІЛЬ) restaurant innovation conference in Kyiv on Monday.
According to him, currently more than a thousand companies have expressed interest in joining the marketplace.
"We are trying to create a space where everyone can sell. This is the so-called 3P model, where we don't have our own warehouses; we rely on our partners for that experience. Right now, over a thousand partners are waiting to connect to the marketplace. It is a place to sell and be seen by a large audience," the entrepreneur clarified.
Gorokhovsky pointed out that in terms of customer experience, the marketplace has reached agreements with partners represented on the platform regarding expectations in this area. He stated that problematic situations will be resolved in favor of the customer.
"Respect for the customer is the primary condition for cooperation with us," he emphasized.
As reported, the marketplace market by mono began operations on the basis of the monobank mobile application on October 21. The first partners of the project included the electronics and technology retailers Moyo, KTS, and Click. Initially, the marketplace will feature gadgets, smart electronics, and computer technology. In the first three days of operation, the service attracted over 1 million customers, generating sales of 56.8 million UAH.
The branchless mobile bank monobank was founded in January 2017 by former top managers of PrivatBank Oleg Gorokhovsky, Dmitry Dubilet, and Mikhail Rogalsky. It operates under the license of Universal Bank, which is part of the "TAS" group (Kyiv) and currently serves over 8.86 million clients, according to its own data.
