Vitaly Klitschko announced this at the forum "Democratic Resilience of Ukraine During the War and in the Period of Recovery," as reported by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE.
Klitschko stated that the capital allocates nearly 15% of its budget to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He compared himself to the Minister of Defense in terms of the number of military personnel who seek his assistance.
At the same time, the mayor emphasized that the funds for the Armed Forces come from taxes, so the city must function and "not be in decline."
Recall that earlier, Vitaly Klitschko commented on whether elections are possible in Ukraine during the war. According to him, "political electoral processes in the country have already begun."
Additionally, the mayor of Kyiv modeled the end of the war in a month or two. Klitschko believes that immediately after the cessation of hostilities, elections will take place in the country.
