The electronic booking service through the "Diia" portal, launched in mid-July of this year, is temporarily closed due to an audit of reservations, according to an official announcement on the portal.
"An audit of the reserved conscripts will take place until November 15. We will inform you about the restoration of the service, so please stay tuned for updates," the information states.
In the chat under the instructional video, when asked about the possibility of obtaining a reservation for an application submitted on October 17, "Diia" advises waiting for the booking result.
As reported, users of "Diia" who have been trying to go through the electronic booking process have begun to complain since early October that their submitted applications are still being processed. In turn, "Diia" stated that the new processing time for applications is three days instead of the previous approximately 10 minutes.
It was later revealed that the government, at a meeting on October 8, agreed with the proposal from the Ministry of Defense regarding conducting an audit until November 15, 2024, by regional and Kyiv city state administrations with the participation of territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC and SP) to assess the decisions made about identifying enterprises, institutions, and organizations as critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population during a special period.
"The decision was made because there has been a sharp increase in the number of reserved individuals. Over the course of two years, there were 540,000 people, and here in just a few months, the number has doubled," explained the audit's initiation by Ivan Havryliuk, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, at the government meeting.
At the same time, he denied reports that the booking process at critical enterprises would be suspended due to the audit. Additionally, the Ministry of Economy responded to inquiries about the booking process, stating that it continues to be carried out in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 76 from 2023.
After the launch of electronic booking in mid-July of this year, the main request from developers was for a booking certificate that would be accepted by the TCC or border guards, as the latter claim that the mark in "Reserve+" regarding booking is not sufficient for deferral from mobilization or for crossing the border.
"This functionality is currently under development in Diia," was the lengthy response to these inquiries from "Diia."
However, in recent days, the response has changed. It now states that amendments need to be made to Cabinet Resolution No. 650 from June 5, 2024, which regulates the electronic booking procedure, and that those who are reserved are recommended to present information from the electronic military registration document in "Reserve+" as confirmation of their booking.
