Johnson commented on the establishment of a European army.

He made this statement during a special YES meeting organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, as reported by Novini.LIVE.

Establishing European Defense Forces

"I don't believe Europe has the time to create its own defense forces right now; to address urgent situations, we need America's funding for intelligence operations and other purposes," said Johnson.

In his view, ensuring U.S. commitment to the defense of our continent means demonstrating and proving that Europe is ready to support Ukraine. Johnson pointed out that this is the challenge Europe faces from the White House.

"The sooner we mobilize those hundreds of thousands of euros, the sooner we will see positive movement from Washington," added the former British Prime Minister.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during the Munich conference that Europe needs to establish its own defense forces.

And Johnson urged countries to send their peacekeepers to Ukraine.
