In the state budget for 2025, an additional 906.275 million UAH has been allocated for the water supply of areas affected by military actions, reported the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
Consequently, over 891 million UAH is planned to be allocated for urgent water supply measures in the cities of Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Kharkiv region. Additionally, more than 15 million UAH will be provided for activities aimed at preventing flooding and partial inundation of settlements, households, and agricultural lands in protective areas along the Kyiv and Kaniv reservoirs.
As previously reported, the Rada adopted the law (No. 12000) "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025" during a plenary session on Tuesday, November 19, with 257 votes in favor, which outlines total revenues of 2 trillion 45 billion UAH (excluding grants and international aid) and expenditures of 3 trillion 607 billion UAH.
