The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the options for providing charitable assistance by updating the list of goods and services exempt from taxation, as reported by the Ministry of Social Policy.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the opportunities for charitable assistance by updating the list of goods and services exempt from taxation, reports the Ministry of Social Policy.

"The relevant changes were prepared by the Ministry of Social Policy with the participation of volunteers - they are primarily aimed at enhancing the capabilities of civil society organizations to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine, combatants, and internally displaced persons," the ministry's statement reads.

It is noted that the new version of the government resolution "On Approving the List of Means, Goods (Works, Services), the Amount (Value) of Charitable Assistance for Purchase or in the Form of Which is Not Included in the Taxable Income of Personal Income Tax Payers" allows for the tax-free importation of vehicles brought into Ukraine by volunteers.

"The list itself has been reduced from 500 to 133 items. At the same time, it includes dozens of new entries necessary for defenders and internally displaced individuals. In particular, unmanned systems, electronic warfare and reconnaissance means, components for them, as well as tactical medicine supplies," the agency emphasized.

The Ministry of Social Policy reported that the updated resolution also includes a new category "Medical Services" and "Educational and Scientific Services."

"This means that combatants, military personnel, veterans, and IDPs will have additional opportunities to access medical and educational services covered by funds donated by benefactors under special (preferential) conditions," the ministry added.
