The Ukrainian government has once again increased the expenditures of the state budget for 2024 on the state programs "National Cashback" and "Winter eSupport" by cutting funds from other business support programs, with the increase amounting to 393.77 million UAH this time.
According to a representative of the Cabinet in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, in a Telegram channel, the funding for the programs "State Support for the Creation of Industrial Parks" and "Compensation for Expenses for Humanitarian De-mining of Agricultural Land" has been reduced by 312.11 million UAH and 81.67 million UAH respectively, from their initial allocations of 1 billion UAH and 3 billion UAH in the state budget for 2024.
It is specified that the expenditures for the program "Support for Domestic Demand for Domestic Goods and Services" ("National Cashback" and "Winter eSupport") will be increased by 81.67 million UAH from the general fund and by 312.11 million UAH from the special fund.
As reported, at the end of November 2024, the government had already increased funding for this state program "Support for Domestic Demand for Domestic Goods and Services" by 3.86 billion UAH, cutting 99.83 million UAH from the program "Partial Compensation for the Cost of Domestic Agricultural Machinery and Equipment," 1.763 billion UAH from the program "Ensuring State Support for the Implementation of Investment Projects with Significant Investments," and 2 billion UAH from the program "Compensation for Expenses on Humanitarian De-mining of Agricultural Land."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Wednesday that over 9 million applications have already been submitted for receiving 1,000 UAH, with more than 6 billion UAH disbursed.
