Кличко предсказал, что война может завершиться в течение месяца или двух.

Klichko predicted that the war could come to an end in one to two months.

After the conclusion of hostilities, elections will take place, which could lead to unrest in society. Therefore, it is essential for politicians to begin collaborating in unity now.

This was stated by the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, at the forum "Democratic Resilience of Ukraine during War and Recovery," as reported by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE.

Klitschko Models the End of the War

According to Klitschko, the so-called compromise regarding the end of the war could be very painful for every Ukrainian.

"Right now, we can predict the end of hostilities in a month or two. It's unclear under what conditions, but I'm sure it will be hard to call it a positive outcome. The so-called compromise may turn out to be very painful for each Ukrainian. We all understand this, considering numerous factors," he said.

The Mayor of Kyiv emphasized that after the war ends, the election campaign will begin, which could lead to unrest in the country.

"Maintaining an army is an expensive endeavor. Currently, we have nearly a million military personnel. After the hostilities conclude, at least a third of the army must transition to reserve status. These are people who are receiving salaries now, but when they return to civilian life, they will need to find jobs as quickly as possible. It is during this period that the election campaign will commence. I am very afraid that it will turn into a fight to the death. Political forces will compete against each other, using the same slogans. Considering all the circumstances, I am very concerned that this might lead to unrest, and even worse—a domestic confrontation or civil conflict. History from various countries shows that after military actions conclude, when society is in a state of depression, such things have already occurred," Klitschko stated.

The capital's leader added that politicians need to work in unity now, as the electoral process is always marked by confrontation and mutual accusations.

"That’s why there are certain warnings. In this context, it is extremely important to emphasize what we talk about every day—unity and consolidation. This applies to both the authorities and society. However, alongside elections, which are traditionally accompanied by mutual accusations, this will become the most challenging challenge. And so far, I am convinced, there is no answer to it. But it needs to be found," Klitschko concluded.

Earlier, Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that political electoral processes in the country have already begun.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned that the topic of elections in Ukraine is being raised by the Russian Federation, as they need a "puppet president" in our country.
