Emmanuel Macron believes that Ukrainians should engage in "realistic discussions" regarding territorial issues. He emphasized that there will be no quick and easy solution.

The President of France, during a meeting with French ambassadors, noted that the authority of the West would be undermined if they agree to a compromise due to "conflict fatigue." He also emphasized that the United States should be interested in Ukraine's victory.

"The new American president knows himself that the United States has no chance of winning anything if Ukraine loses," said Macron.

He also suggested for the first time that Kyiv may have to give up at least part of the occupied territories. Macron added that Ukrainians will need to engage in realistic discussions regarding territorial issues. He also stressed that the United States must help persuade Russia to come to the negotiating table.

"Ukraine's capitulation cannot be beneficial for Europeans and Americans," noted Macron.

It is worth recalling that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine needs to be in a strong position for negotiations. He is convinced that the war can be ended with the help of the U.S. president.

The commander of the Third Assault Brigade, Andriy Biletsky, believes that waiting for a ceasefire with the Russian Federation demotivates Ukrainian fighters and may negatively impact the decisions of officers. Such a situation could lead to even greater losses.
