This was shared by Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with representatives of the International Media Council.
Zelensky emphasized that he has never met with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Turkey and has never conducted negotiations with him. However, according to the Ukrainian president, the Kremlin leader always attempts to impose an ultimatum on him.
"In the early days of the full-scale war, someone from Ukraine came to me with some documents and handed me an ultimatum from Putin," the president recounted.
In addition, they demanded the recognition of Donbas as part of the Russian Federation, changes to the Constitution, acknowledgment of Ukraine as neutral, a reduction of the army to 50,000 personnel, and the destruction or transfer of all weapons with a range exceeding 20 km to Russia.
Recall that during his speech at the World Forum in Davos, Zelensky stated that one cannot speak on equal terms with Putin, as he only understands the language of power.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian president explained how the USA and Russia maintain communication.
