The Ministry of Digital Transformation has added two military bonds, "Avdiivka" and "Debaltseve," to the "Diia" app.

This week, the Ministry of Digital Transformation (MinTsifry) introduced two new issues of military bonds for internal government borrowing (OVGZ) in the "Diya" app, with maturity dates set for May 2026 and May 2027. In keeping with tradition, these bonds have been named after occupied cities, towns, and territories in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation (MinTsifra) has added two new issues of military bonds of the domestic government loan (OVGZ) to "Diyа" this week, with maturity dates in May 2026 and May 2027, traditionally naming them after occupied cities, towns, and territories in Ukraine.

As reported by Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram on Wednesday, in particular, the bonds "Avdiivka" have a nominal rate of 15.6% per annum with a payment date of May 20, 2026, and "Debaltseve" – 16.5% with a maturity date of May 12, 2027.

With the addition of these new securities, their total number in "Diyа" has increased to 14. Currently, there are also issues maturing on November 20, 2024 ("Askania Nova"), January 15, 2025 ("Simferopol"), October 1, 2025 ("Volchansk"), March 12, 2025 ("Makiivka"), June 18, 2025 ("Yevpatoria"), July 23, 2025 ("Dzhankoy"), October 15, 2025 ("Kerch"), and January 28, 2026 ("Bakhchysarai").

The intermediaries include the state-owned Sens Bank (formerly Alfa-Bank) and Ukrgasbank, as well as ICU, bond.ua, and "Kinto".

As of October 23, the total nominal amount of OVGZ in circulation is 1 trillion 748.78 billion hryvnias. The largest share is held by commercial banks – 803.34 billion UAH and the NBU – 677.60 billion UAH, while legal and natural persons hold 171.38 billion UAH and 71.42 billion UAH respectively, non-residents hold 24.27 billion UAH, and territorial communities hold 0.76 billion UAH.
