The situation in the Kupiansk direction is currently very ambiguous, and the Russian occupation forces again failed to complete their tasks by the specified dates.
This was reported by Yuri Fedorenko, commander of the AHILLES 92 Separate Assault Brigade's strike drone aviation complex, named after the Cossack Ataman Ivan Syko, on Radio NV.
"On one hand, the enemy is advancing and leveling the left bank of the Kupiansk area, constantly hitting the right bank in the city, resembling the scenario in Volchansk, but with less intensity of aviation use at the moment. However, it seems that the opponent is trying to do just that; almost all buildings have been destroyed down to their foundations," – stated Yuri Fedorenko.
According to the military, the situation is quite ambiguous because the forces and means that the opponent employs to achieve results on the battlefield, as well as their tactical successes from the previous period, are disproportionate.
"It was determined that by November 1, the enemy should fully enter Kupiansk-Uzlovy, establish a foothold there, and consequently seize the left bank of Kupiansk, including residential areas. As a result, they are sending more and more units into battle to fulfill this task.
But now it is already November, and the month is nearing its end: there are no enemy forces in Kupiansk or Kupiansk-Uzlovy, and in my opinion, in the near future, given the current pressure, the enemy will not be able to realize their intentions," – added Yuri Fedorenko.
