Navrocki's Statement and Tusk's Reaction

Navrocki emphasized that a country that does not take responsibility for the crimes of the past, particularly against 120,000 Poles, cannot be a part of international organizations.

"Today, I do not see Ukraine in any structure — neither in the European Union nor in NATO — until such vital civilizational issues for Poles are resolved. A country that cannot answer for the heinous crime committed against 120,000 of its neighbors cannot be part of international alliances," he stated. At the same time, the politician highlighted that Poles have supported and continue to support Ukrainians.

In response to Navrocki's statement, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk took to social media platform X, criticizing the leader of the "Law and Justice" party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, for the comments made by the presidential candidate from this political force.

"Mr. Kaczynski, your candidate Karol Navrocki stated that he does not see a place for Ukraine in NATO. Do you remember which president supported Ukraine the most on this issue? And who opposed it the most? Aren't you ashamed?" — wrote the Prime Minister of Poland.

Earlier, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz harshly criticized the actions of Ukrainian soldiers who attached UPA flags to Rosomak armored personnel carriers. These were supplied to Ukraine by Poland during the full-scale war.

Meanwhile, Polish MP Witold Tumanowicz wants to ban the entry of Ukrainian soldiers into the country.
