Стефанчук отметил, что настало время создать единую сетку зарплатных тарифов.

It's time to create a unified salary rate structure, says Stefanchuk.

The time has come to develop a unified tariff system to address the issue of fair salary payments for civil servants, according to Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

The time has come to develop a unified salary scale to address the issue of fair compensation for civil servants, believes the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

"I think that the parliament will do everything necessary to finally establish a unified salary scale for everyone working for the state… There should be a single criterion and an established coefficient for this criterion… The unified salary scale must be clear and understandable," Stefanchuk stated at a briefing on Thursday.

According to him, people should have the option to choose: "You either go to work for the state and see your social guarantees, salary level, or you go to work in business and pay taxes to help society support the state apparatus."

Stefanchuk emphasized that it is unacceptable for some individuals in the state to earn several thousand hryvnias while others earn millions. Such injustice is "very negatively perceived in society," especially during wartime.

The parliamentary speaker mentioned that this issue was raised during the meeting of the coordinating council of faction and committee leaders on Thursday.

"I believe that we will soon come to this fair approach to regulating salary issues for everyone working for the state," Stefanchuk concluded.
