The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NERC) has approved the tariff project of NEC "Ukrenergo" for electricity transmission for the year 2025, set at 665.26 UAH/MWh (excluding VAT), which is 25.8% higher than the current tariff for 2024, but 10% lower than what the company proposed.
At the same time, the regulator approved a 3.3% reduction in the transmission tariff for green metallurgy to 352.73 UAH/MWh, as well as a 9% reduction in the dispatching tariff to 95.07 UAH/MWh.
The corresponding decision to approve the draft resolutions of NERC was made during the regulator's meeting on Wednesday, which was broadcast online, as reported by the correspondent of Energy Reform. This decision is subject to further discussion before a final decision is made.
