On January 17, the former First Lady of the United States celebrated her 61st birthday. To mark the occasion, Barack shared a romantic photo of himself and Michelle holding hands during dinner and smiling at the camera.

In the caption of the photo, the politician affectionately addressed his wife, calling her "the love of his life."

"Happy birthday to the love of my life, Michelle. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace — and you look incredible while doing it. I’m so lucky to embark on life’s adventures with you. I love you!" — Obama wrote.

In the comments, Michelle responded to her husband's wishes.

"I love you, sweetheart," — she wrote.

It’s worth noting that rumors of a divorce for the political couple began to circulate after Michelle did not attend the funeral of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter alongside her husband. Additionally, it was revealed that Michelle declined to accompany Barack to the inauguration of newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump.
