Odessa speaks out — a photo report from the FreeAzov event.

Today, February 2nd, the central street of Odessa is once again filled with the voices of those who have not been broken by the weight of uncertainty. Relatives of prisoners of war and missing soldiers gathered for the FreeAzov rally to remind everyone that their loved ones are still waiting for rescue and exchanges.

This was reported by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE.

FreeAzov Rally in Odessa

In their hands are posters bearing names and appeals to the authorities and society not to forget those who have become shields for Ukraine. Each participant present today on Deribasivska Street has their own story—of pain, hope, and an ongoing struggle.

I haven't seen my father for five months...

Among the participants is a young woman tightly gripping a poster with a photograph of her father. She expresses that she came here not only for herself and her loved one but also for everyone who has lost contact with their family, torn apart by separation.

"I came out to support everyone who finds themselves in a situation like mine and to remind people that the war continues. My dad went missing five months ago in Kleschiyivka, and I still don't know what happened to him. I hope to learn the truth," says Lyudmila.

I have been searching for my son for over a year...

Nearby stands a woman who is not only searching for her son but has also decided to continue his mission. She is a service member who daily fulfills her duty to the country, yet remains a mother at heart. She is waiting.

"We have been searching for my son Nikita for a year and two months. I decided to continue his legacy and joined the Ukrainian Navy. In the summer, I tested my abilities in the 3rd Assault Brigade, but due to my age, I couldn’t stay. Now I am on a military ship. I believe that our children will be found, that our defenders will return. That’s why I am here," shares the defender's mother, Oksana.

"Wait and believe"—these words have become the slogan of the rally. They echoed from the lips of every mother, wife, and child who continue the fight for their loved ones.

Let us remind you that a large-scale rally in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war took place near the Opera House in Kyiv. People once again gathered for the Free Azov rally. We also reported that a similar rally was held on February 1 in Lviv. Hundreds of people gathered in the city center to remind others of the warriors still in Russia.
