The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is allocating 8 billion UAH this year for the construction of main water pipelines in the Mykolaiv region, announced the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
"The project for the main water pipelines in the Mykolaiv region includes the construction of three sections for water intake from the Southern Bug River. We are making the necessary decisions to expedite the completion of all works and minimize the risks of their untimely finishing," - wrote Shmyhal on Telegram.
According to him, the government approved the procedure for using these funds on Friday.
"Russian terrorists first destroyed the Dnipro-Mykolaiv pipeline, and then blew up the Kakhovka HPP, thereby depriving the city of access to drinking water... The task for the responsible authorities is to complete the work in the shortest possible time so that Mykolaiv has stable water supply again," - wrote Shmyhal.
