What is known about the condition of Konstantin Nagayko

As noted by the GUR, on January 3, an explosion occurred in the settlement of Shuya in the Ivanovo region of Russia. At its epicenter was Captain Konstantin Nagayko, the commander of the battery of the 112th missile brigade of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. At that moment, he was on duty in his military unit.

"Nagayko has multiple shrapnel injuries affecting virtually all organs, particularly the brain — he underwent a craniotomy," the GUR reported.

Currently, the captain's condition is critical. As stated by the Main Intelligence Directorate, the 29-year-old Russian killer has little chance of survival.

War crimes of Konstantin Nagayko

Captain Nagayko was born on November 6, 1995, in the city of Svobodny, Amur Oblast, Russia. He graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy.

Nagayko was directly involved in the full-scale war against Ukraine. He is implicated in strikes with Iskander ballistic missiles on civilian and military targets in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

"In particular, Nagayko's unit committed a war crime in the village of Groza in the Kupiansk district — on October 5, 2023, they launched a missile strike on a cafe during a wake, resulting in the deaths of 59 Ukrainian civilians, including an eight-year-old boy," the GUR reports.

It should be noted that a car exploded and caught fire in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhia region. It is likely that the chairman of the occupation council, Vasiliy Nechet, was in it.

In Moscow, Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov was killed. He died in the courtyard of a house due to the detonation of an explosive device.
