Zelensky discussed the continuation of financial aid with the Prime Minister of Ireland.

On Friday, February 21, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin. They discussed a shared vision for concrete steps towards ending the war.

The head of state reported this on his Telegram channel.

Topics Discussed Between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Ireland

"Ireland shares our approach (to ending the war. — Ed.): the initiative must be collective, as it affects the security not only of Ukraine but of all Europe. We will do everything possible to achieve a just and guaranteed peace," noted Zelensky.

During their conversation, the parties discussed continued financial assistance, European matters, and Ireland's contribution to the defense of the Ukrainian people. The President of Ukraine also updated the Irish Prime Minister on his discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Additionally, we reported that the President of Ukraine had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković. During this conversation, the Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to the Croatian Prime Minister for supporting Ukraine and for the recent decision regarding a new military aid package.
