Сикорский посоветовал Трампу, что Путин изменился и теперь не тот, каким был раньше.

Putin is not the same as he used to be—Sikorsky offered Trump a piece of advice.

It’s unlikely that Putin will meet with Trump anytime soon. The new U.S. administration needs to recognize that the Russian dictator is now quite different from who he was in the past.

This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski during the Ukrainian breakfast in Davos on Thursday, January 23.

Sikorski Offered Advice to the New US Administration

The Polish minister noted that Putin is not the same as he was known to Trump during his first presidency. He added that one should be skeptical about the idea of an early summit with the Russian president. Sikorski also pointed out that Poland has repeatedly warned the West about Putin, but it has not always been heeded.

"The President of the United States is the leader of the free world. Vladimir Putin is an outcast and a war criminal, accused of kidnapping Ukrainian children. I would suggest that Putin earn this high-level meeting, and if he receives it prematurely, it will elevate his status," Sikorski stated.

The main organizer of the Ukrainian breakfast in Davos is the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation.

We remind you that Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that partners need to increase pressure on Putin. He is convinced that steps must be taken to make the Russian dictator want to sit down at the negotiating table.

US Senator Joni Ernst noted that the timeline for the end of the war in Ukraine depends on how quickly all NATO members fulfill the commitments they made. According to Ernst, Ukraine cannot handle all its needs alone.
