"It is very good that there is a discussion today and that the individuals responsible for transportation issues in the city are engaging with those who, firstly, care about these matters, and secondly, are professionals in this field," — Tkachенко commented on the roundtable meeting.

In his opinion, it is extremely important to hold such discussions and listen to the people who live in the city, as well as to make balanced decisions.

He emphasized that when advocating for certain decisions, people should provide justifications, as these issues require a comprehensive approach based on analytics and specific data.

At the same time, there were no analytical solutions for the suspension of transport in Kyiv during alerts — Tkachенко instructed to provide him with specific information regarding this matter.

"In my opinion, the decision needs to be reconsidered taking into account all the circumstances that currently exist. There are various dangers: first and foremost, we must prioritize the safety of Kyiv residents.", — the head of the KCSA added.

Earlier, Tkachенко stated that the decision to suspend transport in Kyiv during alerts would be reviewed.

The Deputy Head of the KCSA, Mykola Povoroznyk, stated that as a result, the city budget lost about 8 billion hryvnias.
