A rocket attack on Chernihiv resulted in one fatality due to shelling.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus on Telegram on Friday, January 3.

Consequences of the missile strike on Chernihiv

As Chaus noted, the enemy launched a triple missile strike on residential buildings on the outskirts of the city. This has resulted in significant damage to several homes.

"It is already known that one person has died. There are injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," — reported the head of the Regional State Administration.

Recall that powerful explosions occurred in Chernihiv on January 3. Prior to that, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had warned of a possible ballistic attack from the Kursk region.

Once again, the Russians targeted Dnipro. On the evening of January 2, a series of powerful explosions were heard in the city.
