U.S. Assistance in Ending the War

"We were prepared to provide this military aid in the past, and we are working hand in hand with President Trump to end the war. I believe we can reach this agreement," she stated.

Ernst noted, without jumping ahead, that the U.S. Senate wants to see a Ukrainian victory and for Russian President Vladimir Putin to "return to his box." In her view, leadership is key in this matter, and Trump will lead these negotiations.

"And I know that Congress is ready and willing to help as soon as possible to put an end to the war," the senator added.
