Шуляк обозначила три ключевых приоритета Украины после завершения войны.

Shulyak identified three priorities for Ukraine following the end of the war.

Ukraine currently has a primary objective: to achieve victory in the war. However, several key principles have already been identified that will be crucial immediately after the fighting concludes.

This was stated by People's Deputy Elena Shulyak at the forum "Democratic Resilience of Ukraine During War and Recovery" on Tuesday, February 11.

Ukraine's Priorities After the War

As Shulyak noted, once Ukrainians overcome the Russian enemy, the state will have specific urgent tasks. There are three main priorities:

  • Post-war recovery — it is essential not just to restore what has been destroyed but also to reinstate local governance while considering security challenges. Furthermore, this involves physical restoration, which will require engaging international partners;
  • Returning Ukrainians home — Ukraine is currently facing a significant demographic crisis. A plan for the return of Ukrainians from abroad needs to be developed, as well as solutions for internally displaced persons;
  • Eurointegration — beyond enacting relevant laws, it is necessary to address physical, technological, and infrastructure issues for Ukraine to become a part of the European Union.

"As of today (The priority. — Ed.) of course is the war, victory, support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and unity, which we have heard various opinions about today, but it is still necessary to defeat the most terrible enemy in the life of our state," Shulyak emphasized.

Let us remind you that the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, also spoke at the forum. He stated that the priority for Ukraine remains achieving peace. Additionally, the capital's head highlighted the importance of reforms.

Serhiy Prytula previously expressed his views on how to bring back Ukrainians who left the country during the war. In his opinion, the new Ministry of Unity is unlikely to solve this problem.
