On Saturday, February 15, during the Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga met with a delegation from China. The representatives from the People's Republic of China were invited to visit Ukraine.

This was reported by a correspondent from Novini.LIVE in Munich.

Meeting Details

According to Sibiga, the visit of representatives from the PRC to Kyiv will allow for a more in-depth discussion on achieving a sustainable and fair peace for Ukraine.

"Once again, publicly, in front of the media representatives, I want to invite you to visit Ukraine in any way that is convenient for you and at a suitable time. This will be very important for us, and we definitely need the opportunity to discuss in greater depth the paths to achieving lasting and just peace for Ukraine," said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

The diplomat also noted a positive trend in the restoration of political dialogue between Ukraine and China.

"We need your support, and I hope that today’s meeting will be another step towards activating bilateral relations between our countries. We are pleased to note the positive trend towards the restoration of political dialogue between our states in 2024," summed up Sibiga.

Recall that Chinese officials proposed to President Donald Trump's team to organize a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. However, the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the negotiations was not anticipated.

Previously, President Donald Trump announced his intention to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
