This was stated by Kellogg during the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, February 15.
The special representative for Trump noted that the new U.S. administration has been in operation for less than 30 days. Despite this, it has achieved better results than the Biden administration did in three years.
Kellogg pointed out that people are beginning to understand that the war should come to an end. However, to do this, it is essential to ensure the protection and sovereignty of Ukraine.
It is worth recalling that during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, the U.S. officially reported approximately 38,000 soldiers killed. Twice that number were wounded. In the Vietnam War, which lasted from 1959 to 1975, 58,000 Americans lost their lives.
Earlier, Kellogg made a statement regarding long-term peace. According to him, neither President Vladimir Zelensky nor European allies can be excluded.
Kellogg also stated that the war in Ukraine should conclude in less than a year. He announced a timeline of 180 days to engage all parties to achieve this goal.
