Intercontinental ballistic missiles without nuclear warheads can be mere decoys, with their main threat being speed and temperature; thus, conventional "Iskanders" or even guided aerial bombs (GABs) may pose a far greater danger.

This was stated by military-political analyst Alexander Kovalenko from the "Information Resistance" group in an interview with Vasily Pehnyo.

"It's one thing to strike with an intercontinental ballistic missile using decoys; it's entirely different when two 'Iskanders' fly by. Believe me, the destruction and threat from two 'Iskanders' will be significantly greater than from this missile with all its decoys," Alexander Kovalenko explained.

The military expert noted that GABs are also considerably more dangerous than, for instance, what struck Dnipro on November 21, especially the fragmentation-fused aerial bombs OFAB 1500 or OFAB 3000.

However, Alexander Kovalenko emphasized the importance of seeking shelter in bomb shelters, hideouts, parking garages, etc., when faced with such threats.

"Indeed, there may not be an explosion, but the threat lies in the very high speed at which they travel. If it hits the ground, it stays there, but if it strikes a multi-story building, it can penetrate several floors—not just 1-2-3, but it can go through a nine-story building down to the first floor due to its immense speed," the expert clarified.
