Зеленский заявил, что судьбу войны не решают лишь несколько лидеров.

"The fate of war cannot be decided by just a few leaders," stated Zelensky.

The fate of the war cannot be determined by just a few leaders. We must collectively put pressure on Putin. Only this approach can lead us to genuine peace.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, February 15.

Ending the War in Ukraine — How to Achieve Lasting Peace

According to Zelensky, Putin cannot provide real security guarantees. He does not keep his word, and Russia needs war to maintain its power.

"The fate of this war cannot be determined by just a few leaders: neither Trump and Putin, nor I and Putin, nor anyone here in Munich, paired with Putin. We must push together to achieve true peace," Zelensky noted.

He emphasized that, first and foremost, Europe needs its own Armed Forces and a common foreign policy. Furthermore, Washington must recognize the level of European cooperation to take it seriously. It is crucial to continue applying pressure on Russia, as this is what guarantees peace, not Putin's words, the President of Ukraine is convinced.

"Putin is lying. He is predictable. And he is weak. We must take advantage of this — now, not later. And we must act as Europe, not as a group of disjointed individuals. Let this year be the year of Europe — united, strong, secure, and peaceful. Peace for Ukraine. Peace for Europe. Peace for the whole world, for all your families," Zelensky said.

Additionally, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready for the deployment of foreign troops on its territory. This could become one of the security guarantees.

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared that Europe urgently needs to develop an action plan regarding Ukraine. Otherwise, the fate of the country and Europe may take a turn for the worse.
