Member of Parliament Nikolai Tyshchenko, who is accused of unlawfully depriving war veteran and former special forces fighter Dmitry Mazokha of his freedom, attended a session of the Verkhovna Rada. Throughout this period, he had been absent from court hearings due to an alleged ischemic heart condition.

According to reports from MPs, Nikolai Tishchenko attended the first session of the Verkhovna Rada in 2025.

"Nikolai is back. Were you sad?" — wrote MP Alexey Goncharenko.

In a conversation with Goncharenko, Tishchenko stated that his house arrest period had ended.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak also confirmed Tishchenko's presence in the parliamentary hall.

"This year, there is a real strengthening of power in the Parliament — Nikolai Tishchenko has returned to his workplace. Now the reforms will begin," — wrote Zheleznyak.

During his time at the Verkhovna Rada, Tishchenko told Goncharenko that he would no longer fight against call centers, as it is "unnecessary for anyone."

Tishchenko noted that he has reevaluated his stance and is "turning the page." He will focus solely on his parliamentary duties.

Previously, we reported that Tishchenko failed to appear at a court hearing in Dnipro. The prosecutor stated that the MP was informed about the case being heard in court. He promised to attend but ignored the court session.
