Trump Wants to Force Putin to End the War

The new leader of the United States declared that Vladimir Putin must immediately put an end to the war in Ukraine. Trump added that otherwise, the U.S. would impose new stringent sanctions that would lead to the collapse of the Russian economy.

"I will do a great service to Russia, whose economy will collapse, and to President Putin. Settle this now and stop this senseless war! It will only get worse. If we do not reach an agreement soon, I will have no choice but to impose high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on everything sold by Russia," Trump wrote.

He also mentioned that he would not want to harm Russia, considering its help in winning World War II. Furthermore, Trump noted that he has always loved the Russian people and had good relations with Putin.

It is worth mentioning that MP Sergey Nagornyak explained that the Russian economy has not collapsed, as it is not that weak. He pointed out that this could happen only if stricter sanctions were imposed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is planning to meet with Donald Trump. Efforts are currently underway to arrange negotiations.
