A correspondent from Novini.LIVE visited the scene of the event.
Dozens of Kharkiv residents gathered for a rally to support imprisoned Ukrainian defenders. Among the participants were relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms of the prisoners of war. In addition to the prisoners, people called for not forgetting those soldiers who are missing in action.
The participants of the rally held signs with slogans such as "Be the voice of the captives," "Captivity is hell," "Missing in action is not a status," Free Azov, and others.
The rally took place near the roadway on one of the city's streets. Drivers passing by expressed their support for the participants by honking their horns.
Earlier, we reported that in Odesa, relatives of prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action gathered outside the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross. People demanded real actions from the international organization, rather than just its presence in the country.
Additionally, we mentioned that relatives of the prisoners of war stated that Ukraine does not need the organization of the International Committee of the Red Cross at all.
