Explosions were heard in Kyiv—here’s what we know.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, on Telegram.

What is known about the explosions in Kyiv

Tkachенко noted that enemy drones were spotted in the airspace around Kyiv. Just a few minutes later, residents of the capital heard explosions as the air defense was activated.

Currently, residents of several regions have been warned about the danger. The air alert map looks as follows:

Recall that powerful explosions occurred on the evening of January 21 in Kherson. However, at that time, no air alert had been declared in the region.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian oil depot on the night of January 21. This took place in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, and additionally, an aviation factory in the Smolensk region was also targeted.
