Kyiv will see a change in the heads of district state administrations. What’s behind this decision?

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv State Administration Timur Tkachenko on Telegram on Friday, January 24.

Why Administrators are Being Replaced in Kyiv

As Tkachenko noted, he had a conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. The discussion revolved around security issues and the effective functioning of Kyiv, as this is strategically important.

"The capital of Ukraine has the largest budget and resources in the country. However, even with these advantages, residents of Kyiv face problems that require immediate solutions," — emphasized Tkachenko.

He stated that there is only one way out of this situation — changes. They will start with the appointment of new heads of district state administrations.

"The goal is singular — to achieve more results and focus on security issues, addressing problems that concern society, and creating conditions for a comfortable life. We expect the appointment of new leaders soon, whose task will be to fulfill these objectives," — wrote the head of the Kyiv State Administration.

Recall that at the end of December, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Serhiy Popko from the position of head of the Kyiv City State Administration. The new head is Timur Tkachenko.

Recently, a new leader was also appointed to the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. The position was taken by Roman Kachur, following the voting in "Army+".
