The shelter will be constructed on the grounds of the Mezhlimanskaya Gymnasium. It is planned to serve a dual purpose: protection against missiles and radiation. The facility is designed to accommodate 200 people. According to the tender documentation, the contracting authority is the Usatov Village Council. The expected cost of the project is 21,081,569 hryvnias, with funding coming from the local budget.

What Equipment Will the Shelter Have

The shelter will be equipped with everything necessary for people to stay for an extended period in case of a threat. In particular, it will include the installation of a modern alert system, fire alarm, monitoring of air quality, as well as water supply and sewage systems. The structure will also feature ventilation, emergency exits, and areas for storing supplies of water and food.

The submission of tender proposals will last until March 1, 2025, with the auction scheduled to begin on March 3. The construction of the shelter is expected to be completed by September 1, 2025.
