СБУ обнародовала подробности атак на газовые и нефтяные заводы в России.

The Security Service of Ukraine revealed details about the attacks on gas and oil facilities in Russia.

Ukrainian drones targeted the Astrakhan gas processing plant located in Russia. The Volgograd oil refinery was also hit in the attacks.

Sources from Novini.LIVE in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) clarified the details of the attack on Monday, February 3.

Consequences of the Drone Attack on Russian Factories

The SBU and Special Operations Forces drones struck the torch facility and primary processing units No. 2 and No. 3 at the Volgograd plant. Additionally, technological units No. 20 and No. 21 were also hit.

At the Astrakhan gas processing plant, the gas condensate processing complex was hit. A fire broke out at the attack site, which has yet to be extinguished. The plant ceased operations, and workers had to be evacuated.

"This is already the fifth successful special operation by the SBU this year targeting oil refineries and other Russian enterprises that support the defense industry and produce fuel for the Russian army," noted a source from Novini.LIVE in the SBU.

Recall that the Center for Public Defense stated that the Astrakhan gas processing plant, which was attacked on the night of February 3, is one of the key energy facilities in the Russian Federation. It is responsible for processing gas condensate and producing gasoline, diesel fuel, and more.

The Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces continue to target the enemy's critical infrastructure. In January alone, nine oil facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation were struck.
