Court Hearing in the Case of the Murder of Faryon

The session regarding the murder of linguist Irina Faryon was scheduled to begin on January 3 at 10:30 AM at the Shevchenkivskyi District Court in Lviv.

The mother of the suspect, Vyacheslav Zinchenko, has already arrived at the court. Friends are comforting her in the corridor as everyone awaits the arrival of the defendant.

However, the hearing did not start on time due to a report of a bomb threat at the courthouse, leading to the evacuation of people.

We remind you that the case regarding Irina Faryon's death has been reclassified. Vyacheslav Zinchenko is now suspected of intentional murder, which could result in a life sentence.

We also reported that on December 5, the court in Lviv did not grant Zinchenko's lawyer's appeal. He remains in custody without the possibility of bail.

At the same time, his lawyer stated that the investigation is focused on proving Zinchenko's guilt, rather than finding the real murderer.
