The World Bank has announced a new support package for Ukraine amounting to $750 million, as reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"The funds will be provided under the project 'Support for Recovery through Sound Fiscal Management' (SURGE), aimed at supporting the institutional reforms necessary for joining the European Union. Part of this amount will be allocated from the ADVANCE Ukraine fund, which is supported by the Japanese government," - wrote Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the implementation of the program will help strengthen the functioning of state institutions amid the war, ensuring that key state services are fully provided to citizens.
"The reforms under the project are aimed at improving the efficiency of public investment management and state finances. If necessary, funding may be increased," - the Prime Minister added.
