Today, January 9, the enemy carried out an airstrike on Kherson, resulting in hits and casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Roman Mrochkо, in a Telegram post.

According to him, the Russians launched three guided bombs. One of them hit a private house, causing its destruction.

Mrochkо added that a man and a woman were rescued from the rubble and taken by an ambulance.

The 85-year-old victim has a concussion, explosive and closed head injuries, while another victim is experiencing acute stress reaction.

Hits were recorded at a business and a kindergarten. Fires broke out as a result of the enemy airstrike.

As of 9 a.m., the downing of 46 drones has been confirmed across the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions.

24 decoy drones were lost without consequences.

As a result of drone debris falling, private homes were damaged in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions.

It was previously reported that in Zaporizhzhia, the number of injured increased due to yesterday's Russian airstrike using guided bombs.

More than 110 people have been reported injured. January 9 has been declared a day of mourning in Zaporizhzhia.
