On the night of December 30, the Russian army struck Ukraine with drones.
On December 30, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 43 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of UAVs, with the Ukrainian air defense destroying 21 drones and 22 drones being lost to radar, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
Air defense was active in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Odesa, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
In the Kharkiv and Odesa regions, private homes were damaged due to the falling wreckage of the downed drones, the Command reported.
It is known that on the night of Monday, December 30, Russian occupation forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.
"Our air defense forces destroyed the majority of hostile targets," Kiper stated.
As a result of the debris falling in the Razdelnyansky district, the windows, facades, and roofs of five residential buildings were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries, Kiper emphasized.
Relevant services are working at the incident site.
It was previously reported that the enemy has resources for mass attacks on Ukraine using missiles and drones, so another strike is not ruled out, which could occur on New Year's Eve.
According to Alexander Musienko, the head of the Center for Military-Legal Studies, after the missile strikes on Ukraine during Christmas, the enemy has enough supplies for two large-scale attacks.
Additionally, the enemy is accumulating resources and receiving assistance from North Korea.
