Zelensky and the Spanish Prime Minister agreed to strengthen the ties between their countries.

On Thursday, February 13, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. They specifically discussed enhancing the ties between their countries.

The Ukrainian leader announced this via Telegram on Thursday, February 13.

Conversation Between Zelensky and Sanchez

Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of Spain for supporting Ukraine. He shared details about his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

"We will continue to strengthen our cooperation with American partners, and of course, deeper engagement across Europe is critically necessary. Security is our shared responsibility", emphasized the head of state.

According to him, he is thankful to Spain for its support of political and diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security in Europe.

"We also discussed collaboration through the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine to support Ukrainians and further strengthen ties between Ukraine and Spain", Zelensky added.

Let us remind you that Zelensky had a conversation with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. In particular, they discussed the coordination of efforts among key allies of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leader spoke with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk about potential negotiations with Russia.
