There was also an emphasis on the need to strengthen sanctions against the Russian "shadow fleet" and attention was drawn to the environmental threat posed by this fleet, as well as its role in undermining price caps on Russian oil and financing the war.

The parties discussed expanding the OSCE's role in protecting lives, ensuring peace, and countering Russian aggression.

The President underscored that significant progress in protecting lives and moving closer to lasting peace for Ukraine can be achieved together with international partners.
